ASA Soccer League Calendar

We are thrilled to share the Calendar for our Fall 2024 Soccer Season! As we get closer to the season, we can't wait to see everyone back on the field. Below is the schedule with key dates and practice arrangements:

  • Practices for 4U and 6U: These will continue to take place right before the game.

  • Practices for 8U and 10U: These will be held once a week. Practices can be on either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on the coach's availability, as both days have been reserved for field use.

  • Bye Week: To ensuring maximum participation on game days, we will not have any games or practices the week of 10/6-10/12. (Godley ISD Fall Break)

  • Contingent or Make-Up Game Days: Two weeks have been assigned for potential make-up games in case of bad weather. While the field drains water very well, we will use these weeks to reschedule any canceled games due to weather conditions.

Important Dates:

  • Early Bird Registration Ends: July 19th 2024

  • Registration Closes: August 25th 2024

  • Parent Orientation: August 28th 2024

  • Meet the Coach (U4 & U6): TBD

FAQs

  • All practices and games will be in Godley! 4U and 6U will practice before the game and 8U and 10U teams will practice in the practice fields behind Godley Middle School. Games will take place in the soccer field behind Legacy Elementary!

  • We have divisions for 4U (ages 3-4), 6U (ages 5-6), 8U (ages 7-8), and 10U (ages 9-10).

  • Yes, to ensure we have enough players to participate in the league, we are currently coed.

  • No problem! Our league is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels, and our coaches will ensure a fun and supportive environment for everyone.

  • Yes, siblings in the same age group will be placed on the same team. While we strive to accommodate other friend or team requests, we can only guarantee that siblings will be together.

  • Yes, we welcome parent volunteers to coach. Please indicate your interest on the registration form or you can fill out the Coaching Interest Form.

  • We will notify parents via the TeamSnap app and email as soon as possible if any practices or games are canceled due to weather.

  • Please regularly check our website and the Team Snap app for updates, schedules, and important announcements.
