Divisions

At Agile Sports Association, we believe youth soccer should be a fun, engaging, and rewarding experience for every child. We offer leagues designed to foster skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game in a supportive environment.

For the upcoming season, we are excited to offer the following divisions:

• 4U (ages 3-4): Perfect for our youngest players to start learning the basics in a fun and friendly setting.

• 6U (ages 5-6): For slightly older players ready to build on foundational skills and enjoy more structured gameplay.

• 9U (ages 7-9): We are thrilled to have been able to offer this league in the past and are eager to continue providing this opportunity for players in this age group. However, to ensure we can run a successful and enjoyable 9U league, we need enough interest from players and coaches. If you’re interested, we encourage you to join the Waitlist by registering for free! If we’re able to form the league, players will practice once a week, with games scheduled on Sundays. We hope to bring this league to life again with your support!

Both our 4U and 6U leagues are designed with busy families in mind. Players will practice right before their games, making it a simple, one-day-a-week commitment. Practices are filled with engaging skill lessons, exciting mini-games, and opportunities for every player to build confidence and have fun.

Registration

Our league fee is $125 (financial assistance and sibling discounts are available) including a uniform jersey and practices led by dedicated coaches equipped with thoughtfully planned coaching lesson plans designed to inspire confidence and skill development in our players. Each player will also have access to a league-provided soccer ball for practice, ensuring they have the tools they need to grow and enjoy their soccer experience.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we offer financial assistance through our PAVE Grant (Providing Access to Valuable Experiences). Families interested in applying for financial assistance must submit their PAVE Grant applications by January 15, 2025. The league registration deadline is February 2, 2025, so don’t wait—secure your child’s spot today!

Communication

At Agile Sports Association, we prioritize keeping our families informed and connected throughout the season. That’s why we use TeamSnap, an easy-to-use app designed to streamline communication and make your experience as smooth as possible.

With TeamSnap, you’ll have access to:

• Schedules at Your Fingertips: View your child’s game and practice schedule in one convenient place.

• Real-Time Updates: Get instant notifications for weather delays, schedule changes, or important announcements.

• Team Communication: Easily message your coach or other team parents for quick coordination.

• Event Reminders: Never miss a practice, game, or special event with automatic reminders.

Please note that after you register, your child may not immediately appear on your TeamSnap account until they are assigned to a team. Teams will be assigned once registration closes, and you will receive an invitation to join your team at that time.

Using TeamSnap ensures you’re always in the loop and helps us keep communication clear and efficient.

Spring 2025 Season Schedule

The 8-game season kicks off on March 2, 2025, and runs through May 4, 2025, with make-up game days scheduled for May 11 and May 18 if needed due to weather. There will be no games or practices during Spring Break (week of March 9) and no games on Easter Sunday, April 20.

Matchdays are organized to ensure smooth transitions and enjoyable experiences for all divisions. Our 4U and 6U players will have a 20-minute practice before their soccer game, with the game starting immediately after. Start times listed on the schedule reflect when practice begins, so it is important that children arrive on time. The practice portion is crucial for building their confidence, skill development, and readiness for the game.

Special events for the season include the Meet the Coach event on February 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Godley City Park for 4U and 6U, and Picture Day on March 23, 2025. Families can download a copy of their schedule by tapping on the division their child will be joining. Times and dates may be updated once teams have been created and you will have the full schedule at your fingertips through the TeamSnap App! Location

All games and practices will take place in Godley at the Legacy Elementary School Soccer Field. The field is located behind the Rock Gym of Legacy Elementary School. While the view may be partially restricted as you drive in by the bleachers, our games will take place on the soccer field inside the track.

For parking, you can park behind the Godley ISD Admin Building or in the parking lot located between Legacy Elementary School and Godley’s 6th Grade Campus. Please ensure you are not blocking any fire lanes or parking illegally. As you drive in, be mindful of others and exercise caution, as there may be children and parents walking in the parking lots. Let’s work together to keep everyone safe and respectful throughout the season!
